MSC Opera’s 2006/2007 Itineraries

In 2006, MSC Opera will be operating Mediterranean cruises from April through November before the ship returns to the Caribbean for eleven-night cruises out of Ft. Lauderdale in 2007.

Beginning April 9, 2006, MSC Opera will sail seven-night roundtrip cruises out of Rome (Civitavecchia), visiting the ports of Genoa, Monte Carlo, Valencia, Spain; Malta and Tunis. Her last cruise of the season is October 22.

On October 30, November 10 and November 21, MSC Opera will sail on 11-night cruises roundtrip from Genoa. The October 30 and November 21 cruises visit Egypt, Cyprus, Greece and Turkey. The November 10 cruise visits Spain, Morocco, Canary Isles and Madeira.

On December 3, MSC Opera repositions back to Ft Lauderdale on a 17-day transatlantic cruise departing from Genoa. MSC Opera then resumes cruises in the Caribbean with two seven-day holiday sailings before beginning a series of 11-night Deep Caribbean and Panama itineraries from January to May. On May 9, 2007, the ship then redeploys from Ft. Lauderdale on a transatlantic crossing to Copenhagen.

MSC Lirica 2006/2007 Itineraries

After her April 22, 2006 eleven-day cruise in the Caribbean, sister ship MSC Lirica redeploys to Europe on May 3 on a 17-day transatlantic crossing* to Genoa where she will be based for a season of Mediterranean cruises.   *Ports of call include Cayo Levantado, Tortola, Martinique, Funchal, Malaga, Barcelona, Genoa.

On October 29, MSC Lirica redeploys to Ft Lauderdale* arriving November 15, from where she will also sail Panama and Deep Caribbean itineraries including 11-night Christmas and New Year’s sailings. After a series of 11-day cruises in the Caribbean January to April in 2007, she returns to Europe on April 29 on a 17-night transatlantic sailing to Hamburg, Germany.

*Note: Lirica was originally scheduled to offer year-round cruises out of New York to the Caribbean starting in April 2007. That schedule has been revised and the vessel will be based in Florida for the 2007 winter/early spring season before redeploying to Europe.
